“I have known Sue for about 24 years, and her presence has had a huge impact on my life. We first met in San Diego, CA, obtaining our first jobs as licensed physical therapists at California Children’s Services. Being of like mind and heart, we became fast friends. It was then that I learned of her abilities as a healer. I watched her connect with the kids and their parents in such a skilled and heart-full way, helping everyone feel at ease. The vivacious spirit she exudes in relating with people of all ages, helping them to achieve their highest level of function, is a true gift. And it’s just her nature. I received this gift first hand as she helped me heal from an eating disorder I had developed in high school. She seemed to intuitively know exactly how to be with me, meeting me in my struggle with compassion. She became my PT, informal counselor, spiritual advisor and confidant, and helped me to enjoy food (and life) again. To have someone’s presence with me who so totally “got it” helped me to heal completely (for good!). Now, 20 plus years later, I recently told her that if there was anyone I would want to have by my side if I were ill or deeply struggling, it would be her..no doubt. Sue’s life experience has been a great teacher for her. She has had the courage, faith and wherewithal to deeply heal herself. It is within this context of self-discovery and healing that she has become so deeply able to help those that have challenges of any sort; physical, emotional or spiritual. She has been an anchor in my life, and also in the lives of her family members, friends, and clients. I am delighted for anyone who has a chance to work with her on their healing journey in Special Settings PT, Inc! "
